Second Class have spent a large portion of January undertaking plenty of varied learning around the theme of water. We learned all about water conservation and worked extremely hard at producing some excellent projects on the topic. Each pupil listed five means in which we can help save water in our day to day lives and presented their work in project format. This is our first go at research driven project work and the results were fantastic. Each child then took some time to present their project orally to the class; another skill that we are working very hard on this year.
To follow up on this and building further on our theme of water, we learned all about the water cycle. We learned about the different stages of the cycle through a range of interactive activities and completed our topic by displaying our new knowledge in an art based representation of the four stages. Have a look at all our work!
