Admission to other year groups (SI to 6th class) 2023/2024
The admissions window has now closed. We ceased accepting applications for admission to other year groups on 27th March 2023 at 23:59.

Junior Infants 2023/2024 - late applications

We wish to emphasise to you that submitting this pre-enrolment form does not guarantee or imply that there will be a place for your child.
Starting from November each year, places are offered from the pre-enrolment list for the following September. Pre-enrolled siblings of current pupils receive offers first; remaining places are offered from the pre-enrolment list by way of lottery (October submissions) or in date order of when they were received (late applications).
Places are offered by email to the email address on the enrolment form unless parents have informed the school in writing of a change of email address prior to the offer being posted.
Offers of places will continue until the maximum permitted number is reached: in this regard, the Board will take account of relevant Department of Education guidelines in relation to class size and staffing schedules as well as relevant requirements concerning accommodation, including physical space, the educational welfare of all of the children, and their health, safety and general welfare.
It is the sole responsibility of the parents/guardians to inform the school promptly of any change of address, telephone number, email address or other relevant information.
Our new enrolment policy from 7th September 2020 reflects The Minister for Education’s signing of the Admissions to School Act 2018
We will offer Junior Infant places as follows:
- Siblings on the New Admissions list.
- All other children on the New Admissions list on a lottery basis.
- Siblings on the Late Applications list.
- All other children on the Late Applications list according to date of submission.
In the event that the school is oversubscribed, Junior Infants must reach 4 years of age on or before 31st May of the school year concerned. Please refer to SETNS Admissions Policy for detailed information.
