The Parents’ Association Committee invite you to a talk on ‘Transition to post primary school’, given by Graham Richmond.
This will take place on Thursday 14th November from 8pm – 9pm in the school. Tea and coffee will be offered from 7:45pm.
Whilst this talk will mostly appeal to 4th , 5th & 6th class parents, please note all parents are most welcome.

Graham Richmond is a secondary school teacher and has given many parent talks over the last few years, helping parents to prepare themselves and their children with the transition to secondary school.
He will cover several areas that arise as children move from primary to secondary school, some of which include
- The physical transition (size of new school, transport, timetables, books/iPads, numerous teachers and homework/study).
- Extra-curricular activities and the positive/negative impact they may have.
- Physical & mental health.
- The role of technology and the social changes/temptations that may arise.
