The school hall was transformed into a vibrant hub of scientific inquiry for our Science Fair. The level of dedication shown by the children was truly remarkable; weeks of preparation culminated in a series of demonstrations that were as educational as they were entertaining.
A World of Discovery The hall was packed with a diverse range of projects covering every corner of the STEM world, including:
-
Physics in Action: Static electricity displays, electrical circuits, and floating ball experiments.
-
Earth & Space: Detailed looks at asteroids, our solar system, and the power of wind energy.
-
Chemistry & Wonder: The ever-popular slime stations, classic volcanoes, and the "illusion of size" experiments.
A Special Visit - We were honored to welcome a professional judge from the Irish National Science Centre, Explorium. They spent significant time at every station in the hall, engaging with the students and asking deep questions about their hypotheses and findings. This was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to present their work to an expert and receive professional feedback.
We thank Rachel for her time and Explorium for kindly sponsoring the top prize of a voucher.
