Yvonne Bright - Chairperson

With two grandsons in Stepaside Educate Together National and Secondary Schools, Yvonne is firmly committed to the ethos of equality of access and esteem to all children and to learner focused education. With a strong belief in the value of lifelong learning, following a career in business at senior management level, Yvonne returned to education in UCD to learn more about earth science and physics.
Anne Carroll - Principal

I am the Principal of the school returning to work after an almost 5 year leave of absence. I started the school in 2012 when we were in the prefabs in Kilternan and to come back to see the school grown to over five hundred pupils is truly wonderful. I am delighted to be back and to find that the school, although much larger, is still the positive, vibrant place which I left behind 5 years ago.
Kevin O’Donnell - Patron Nominee

I've been a member of the Board of Management since 2019. I live locally here in Stepaside and initially joined as a Parent Nominee when my two daughters attended the school. They are both attending Stepaside ETSS now, but I'm delighted to remain on the Board as a Patron Nominee. It's been great to see the school grow and flourish over the past few years and to work with the excellent school management team.
Elaine Coyne - Treasurer

I am delighted to have joined the board as financial treasurer. I have been working in financial services for the past 18 years and I am grateful to be able to contribute my time and experience to the Board of Management and to support the school community.
Lisa Hild - Parent Nominee

My name is Lisa. Since my daughter, Alicia started in Stepaside ETNS in 2018, I have been a very active member of the Parents’ Association Committee and have been involved in numerous events throughout the years. In 2019, I was elected onto the Board of Management in 2019 and have been an active member over the last four years, throughout Covid and changes to the Board and school leadership. I believe very strongly in the values underpinning Educate Together schools. I have attended all Educate Together Training available to members of Boards of Management and have represented the school at two Educate Together AGMs in person as well as attending consultation sessions online during Covid. I feel that I still have a lot to give to this school and to the Board and since there has been so much change in the school and Board of Management in these four years, that is wonderful to be able to provide some continuity between the previous Board of Management and the next.
Jarrod Bromley - Parent Nominee

My name is Jarrod Bromley. I have my youngest daughter, Hazel in 3rd class B whilst my eldest, Hannah has just finished at the school, having moved to Stepaside ETSS. Originally from New Zealand, I've lived in Ireland since 2001 and I work in financial services. This is my second year on the Board of Management and i'm looking forward to continuing working with the board to help make our school the best it can be for the benefit of all our students, parents and the wider community.
Nathan Barrett - Community Nominee

My name is Nathan, I am currently Principal of Stratford College in Rathgar. I am also a Lecturer on the Professional Master of Education course in UCD, and a Placement Tutor with DCU. Before I became Principal I was a Music teacher and have authored two Music textbooks for Junior and Leaving Certificate. I am looking forward to working with the board in supporting the leadership, staff and students of SETNS.
Ailish Egan - Teacher Nominee

Hello! I’m Ailish, and I have proudly been a part of the Stepaside Educate Together Primary School community since 2019. I feel fortunate to work in such a wonderful environment alongside dedicated staff members. Prior to my time in education, I gained valuable experience in the food and beverage industry in Ireland and abroad. I have worked with children in various aspects from management positions in the Gaeltacht, coaching, outdoor adventures and of course my classroom skills. This experience has all contributed and shaped my approach to teaching. Outside the classroom, I love spending time with friends and family, and I have a strong passion for the outdoors. As the Teacher Representative on the Board of Management, I am excited to collaborate with board members, staff, parents, and the wider community to enhance our school experience.
