Thanks to all the SETNS families, new and old for a fantastic turnout at the recent Belarmine Clean up on 7th Oct. There was great community spirit displayed on the day, with everyone getting stuck in with helping clean and improve the local area. Even the pond got a good clear out with some opportunists taking advantage of its dry spell (we miss you ducks!). A very determined Dad went as far as climbing a tree to remove a plastic bag, thank you Niall.
We were delighted to see some of our neighbouring families from Thaobh na Coille join us on the day, as well as Shane Ross. This was not only a great success in terms of giving back to the local community, but also a great social occasion for both parents and children. The kids had a terrific time and enjoyed getting involved in this event not only with their own families but also with their friend’s families.
We look forward to the next clean up in Spring.
Again thank you for your participation.
