We had a wonderful few weeks during November in 2nd class.
At the start of the month we presented at assembly in front of the whole school. We discussed many of the interesting topics and facts we had been learning about in our Learn Together programme.
We had a very busy ‘Friendship Week’ where we made friendship recipes, a friendship quilt, friendship tree, freindship bracelets, had a secret friend for the week and discovered the key to a good friendship.
During the month we had a visit from an Archaeologist and we did a excavation workshop with him. It was so much fun.
The funniest magic show we have ever seen took place this month. It was all about the 3 R's Reduce Reuse Recycle. We were blown away. Some of us even got to go up and be his assistant.
We started to learn how to play rugby with our coach from New Zealand. We are getting very good at tag rugby now.
We did lots of drama and art throughout the month also. We love the arts.
The month finished off on a high with an exciting visit from the Sam Maguire cup and the Dublin player David Byrne.
We really enjoyed the month of November
