Second class have been learning lots on the theme of water over the past two weeks. In Geography, we learned all about water conservation and most recently have explored the stages of the water cycle. In History we have been learning about seaside holidays in the past and how these might differ to seaside holidays today. In Science we have continued to learn all about floating and sinking. In keeping with our theme, we spent some time in Music today working together to create a body percussion composition mimicking the sounds of a rain storm.
We used a variety of body actions to create sounds that represented the rain, the wind and thunder. We then worked together to compile these sounds into one rain storm. Have a listen! We think it sounds great!
