Today, we went to see a fantastic Science show called Dr. Megaphone's Zoom Show in Engineers Ireland. The show featured Dr. Megaphone and his assistant, Sandy. The presentation was excellent. We enjoyed trying to identify natural and engineered objects under the microscope. Some of the children were involved in an experiment with Crunchie and Wispa bars. They had to drop them from a height to test if they would break due to the consistency of the bar. A pickle was even electrocuted! Lots of fun all round and the children were excellent ambassadors for SETNS! Well done 3rd Class!
