December 2019 in Stepping Stones

We really enjoyed ourselves this December in Stepping Stones. We learned all about winter and Polar regions. We made ice balloons and we discovered what happens when we put hot and cold water on ice. We made our own fake snow! We created snowmen, snow walls and snowballs with it.

A big thanks to the Sixth class students, who became shopkeepers to our first ever Stepping Stones shop. This project will help all students with responsibility, empathy and social skills. It will run all year round.

We learned to make delicious hot chocolate. It was the perfect treat for such hard workers.

Our parents came to visit our class for our end of term Winter Wonderland. We decorated our hall with lots of our Winter art and projects. We had great fun singing songs together with Alison’s class. Then we designed our own plates using special porcelain markers with the help of our fantastic parents. A great end to 2019!
