We have had a wonderfully busy few weeks in First Class! We've been working very hard taking our Standardised Tests, being very creative with our art work, going on our School Tour  and having a wonderful time during Intercultural Week!

We made Clay Horned Owls!

We had a great time painting them!

YAAAAAAY!!! School Tour Time! We visited Pine Forest where we went on a hike up a little mountain and then settled in for some great art classes where we made clay birds, drew amazing dragonflies and butterflies and finally made super paper dragons as pencil toppers.

Investigating the tadpoles and trying to find the resident newt!

Then it was time for the bus home. We had great fun with the bus driver trying to navigate all the twisty mountain roads!

INTERCULTURAL DAY!

What a wonderful day we had this Thursday, meeting all the parents and learning all about their wonderful countries and cultures including Czech Republic, Italy, Iran, Ghana, China, Mexico and Spain. The children had the opportunity to look, taste and listen to the sounds and tastes of all the different cultures in our school. How lucky are we?!

We watched some Spanish Dancing.

We even got to try some dancing ourselves!
