We have had a very busy and fun-filled few weeks in Stephanie's class.
During our 1st week back after the Winter break, we looked back on what was a fantastic 2016 and made resolutions for 2017.
Our class novel at the moment is "Flat Stanley". We are using various reading comprehension strategies in our reading response journals.
Yoga stretches and busy breaks have helped us concentrate on our work .
We celebrated Martin Luther King Day and came up with our own hopes and dreams for the future.
Learning about length in maths was so much fun. We measured items.....and people, using a metre string.
We look forward to our drama lessons every week. We are great to work together as a team during the role plays.
Inspirtaional week was packed with positivity and love. We painted inspiring words and quotes during art.
We are constantly being inspired by the people around us, especially our parents. We had some parents in to talk us through their journey and what inspired them to become who they are today.
During that week we picked one person who has inspired us in life and made a project about them. They turned out so well, take a look!!
Our class are so artistic. We always create pieces that are individual and unique.
Music plays a key role in our class. We started to learn how to play the tin whistle this month.
GAA takes place every Friday for our class. We are getting very good at it and really enjoy it.
